Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Safe2gether account and personal information whether you registered directly or signed in with Google or Facebook.

Request deletion

1. Email benderdalitso@gmail.com with the subject Safe2gether account deletion.
2. Send the request from the email address registered to your account. Include your Safe2gether username. If your Facebook account did not share an email, include the Facebook name or user ID associated with the login.
3. Respond to any reasonable identity-verification request. This protects your account from unauthorised deletion.

Remove Facebook access

You may also remove Safe2gether from Facebook by opening Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Safe2gether → Remove. Removing the Facebook connection stops future Facebook access but does not by itself delete your Safe2gether account; use the email process above for full account deletion.

What happens next

After verification, we will delete or anonymise the account, social-login identifiers, profile information, connections, and other personal information that is not required for legal, fraud-prevention, security, or safety reasons. The request is normally completed within 30 days. Residual backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten.

We will confirm completion using the email address from which you submitted the request.
